The website is hosted on a server operated by Contabo GmbH, Aschauer Straße 32a, 81549 Munich, Germany. The server is managed by us. A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the reliable and secure operation of the website).

The server logs technically necessary access data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent). These logs are required for error analysis and security and do not contain form content. They are deleted after no more than 30 days. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

For enquiries by email we use Proton Mail (Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland). The transmitted content is used exclusively to process the enquiry and is not passed on to third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b and f GDPR. Proton is subject to Swiss data protection law, which provides an adequate level of protection.

We store your language preference in the augmentry_locale cookie for up to one year. We store your privacy preferences in localStorage under augmentry_consent, including the choices, timestamp and consent text version. The choice expires after 180 days and we ask again. You can change your choice at any time using “Privacy settings” in the footer or withdraw consent by selecting “Reject all”. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current document. The old augmentry_privacy_notice_dismissed and augmentry_privacy_notice_auto_dismissed entries are no longer used and do not constitute consent. Necessary storage of your preferences is based on Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG and, where personal data is processed, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Its purpose is to respect your language and privacy choices.

We use Plausible Analytics, a service of Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia, for privacy-friendly measurement of page views. Plausible operates without cookies, does not use persistent identifiers and does not store full IP addresses. Reporting is aggregated so that we can understand which pages are visited and which content is useful. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly reach measurement, Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PMR9GE7C1Q), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We measure page views and successfully submitted enquiries to understand website usage. If you also consent to Google Ads measurement, Analytics data may be used through the link to Google Ads to attribute enquiries to our advertisements. We do not use personalised advertising, remarketing or enhanced conversions with contact details.

Google processes data including cookie identifiers, technical browser and device information, page views, timestamps and events. The connection necessarily transmits your IP address; Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Advertising click identifiers are only included in our configured measurement events with additional Ads consent. We do not send names, email addresses or free-text form contents as measurement data.

The Google tag loads only after consent to Google Analytics. If you decline, this tag is not loaded; Plausible remains active independently. The legal bases are Section 25 (1) TDDDG for storing or accessing information on your device and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR for subsequent personal data processing. Additional use for Google Ads requires the corresponding further consent. Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future using “Privacy settings” in the footer.

GA4 uses cookies including _ga and _ga_PMR9GE7C1Q to recognise browsers and sessions. We limit their lifetime to 180 days without automatically renewing it on every visit. On withdrawal, we remove the relevant Google measurement cookies accessible on our domain. Withdrawal does not automatically delete data already lawfully processed. User and event data retention in the Analytics account is two months; aggregated reports may persist longer.

Recipients may include Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC and other service providers engaged by Google. Transfers to the USA are possible. Google describes the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers to appropriately certified US companies and supplementary standard contractual clauses. The applicable service terms and transfer mechanism govern the respective processing. The enquiry form collects the data you enter (name, business email address, company, role, request type, context and optional phone number as well as further technical information depending on the request). Providing a phone number is voluntary. The privacy checkbox is mandatory. The data is transmitted via SMTP to our Proton Mail mailbox and is not stored in the application. In addition, a start timestamp is collected to detect automated spam submissions. An invisible honeypot field is used as technical protection against bots. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against misuse).

This website uses the fonts Manrope, Fraunces and JetBrains Mono. The fonts are served locally from the server (self-hosting). No data is transmitted to external font providers.

You have the right to obtain information, rectification, deletion or restriction of the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
